Hi, I’m John. I’ve been fixing computers for local people and businesses since 2006, and I’m a Trading Standards Buy With Confidence member. Most shops keep your computer for weeks. I come to you and often have it working again within the hour.
Slow computer?
Takes ages to start or freezes when you open a program? I'll find what's slowing it down, clear out the clutter and tell you honestly whether an upgrade is worth it.
Virus infection?
Pop-ups, fake virus warnings or strange behaviour? I'll remove the infection, check your accounts are safe and set up protection so it doesn't come back.
Overheating computer?
A loud fan or a laptop that shuts itself down is often just dust. I'll clean it out and check the cooling before it damages anything.
Printer problems?
Won't print, won't connect to Wi-Fi or keeps saying it's offline? I'll get it working with all your devices.
Internet problems?
Slow broadband, Wi-Fi dead spots or trouble after the digital phone switchover. I'll sort out the router, the wiring and your devices.
Repairs and upgrades
Screens, batteries, memory and faster SSD drives for Windows PCs and Macs. I can also help you choose a new computer, set it up, move your files across and dispose of the old one safely.
Where I cover: 20 mile radius from Hastings (St Leonards, Battle, Bexhill, Rye, Eastbourne)
Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday
Hourly rate: £60 per hour
