Did you know that you can take a smart phone, install some software and connect it to your computer and use it as a webcam? Or use it as another video source. This could be an old phone you don’t use or your current one.

iVCam

e2esoft has written iVCam, you install an app on your smart phone or tablet and connect it using a USB cable. You can also connect more than one device to your Windows PC.

The Windows software is an ad supported and watermark trial, which means not only will you see ads when the software is running, but also your videos will have a watermark in them which can be resolved by paying just $10 per machine you wish to use it on.

You can use iVCam in Zoom and Skype as well as in OBS.

Downloading the app is as simple as taking a picture of the barcode and it will take you to the appropriate app store for your device.
