Modern smartphones can use a system known as NFC or Near Field Communication to pay for goods and services with a contactless transaction.
Unlike a contactless card, where the transaction is capped at £30, NFC uses a much more secure payment system so there is no limit to the transaction (apart from the amount in your bank account)
